Fly Tying Video Library

the Horror

Creator: Pete Perinchief

The Horror is a classic bonefish fly which is seldom used but often carried. Not sure why it isn’t used more? It lands lightly and is easy to cast and only requires 2 materials. It was created by Pete Perinchief in the 1950s & is thought to be the first fly tied wing up. It is still tied, sold and used today. Could be your secret weapon for spooky fish in very skinny water.
