The Tarpon toad has quickly become a new classic since being featured prominently in the semi-recent series “Chasing Sliver”. This a staple for the Florida Keys and can be tied in many different color combinations. There are variations with & without weight however the unweighted ones are the gold. With wieght these flies sink quickly and are out of the feeding column before the fish arrives. The unweighted versions will hover below the surface and allow you the tim you need to properly cast in front of the approaching fish and wait for it.
