Lefty Kreh being from Maryland is an authority on striped bass as well as other species. This variation of his original deceiver fly is a lethal bug for fly fishing the Chesapeake Bay. The striped bass is an icon of Mid Atlantic fishing. This heavy bodied fish is one of the most sought after species of fish found in the region. Striped bass are found in the Atlantic Ocean, Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay. In the Chesapeake Bay, striped bass are known as “rockfish”.
